Before the wedding, we agree on the music, hosting and moments that matter to you.

No two weddings are the same. Some couples want every tradition; others prefer more time for dancing. We agree with you on what to include and when, so you can enjoy the celebration without watching the schedule.
Welcome drinks and gentle background music greet your guests before they enter the reception. While the couple enjoys a short photo session after the ceremonies, the guests can relax with a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
Once everyone has arrived, the couple says “I do”. The ceremony may be symbolic after an earlier civil wedding, or an official ceremony led by the authorised registrar. A friend or another chosen host can lead a symbolic ceremony.
Before entering the reception, the couple can receive gifts and congratulations while taking photographs with the guests. Combining these moments avoids a later tour around the tables and gives everyone time for a personal greeting.
The couple and their witnesses enter after the guests have taken their seats. A white cloth decorated with flowers creates a ceremonial path, while the guests welcome them with applause and their chosen entrance music.
The mothers welcome the couple with traditional bread, honey and salt. Salt symbolises the challenges of life and honey its sweet moments. The witnesses can join in, and the order and participants are agreed with the couple beforehand.
The reception staff serves champagne for the couple and their witnesses. Traditional playful sayings accompany the toast, followed by the familiar call that the wine is “bitter” and a kiss to sweeten it. These are wedding customs rather than predictions.
The bride may kick a small copper pot containing white and red flowers. Folklore playfully links the flower colours with the couple’s first child. This optional custom closes the welcome, followed by a short break with background music.
The best man offers congratulations, a personal story and a toast to open the celebration. The speech can take place later if the couple prefers or the speaker needs a little more time.
The couple opens the dance floor with a song that has personal meaning. We help you choose the music and coordinate the moment. Optional low fog and cold sparks can enhance the first dance when suitable for the venue and agreed in advance.
The newlyweds invite their parents or witnesses for a special dance. A popular choice is for the bride to dance with her father and the groom with his mother. The participants and song are entirely your choice.
All guests are invited to join a Bulgarian horo, traditionally led by the bride. Afterwards, the DJ continues with music agreed with the couple or selected to suit the guests and the atmosphere.
In this playful tradition, dancers carrying gifts such as bread and a chicken challenge the witnesses to dance and bargain for the gifts. It brings laughter and involvement, and is included only if it suits the couple’s wishes.
Often before the main course, the couple stands back to back and breaks a ceremonial loaf above their heads, handed to them by the best man. Folklore says the person with the larger piece will bring home the money. The bread is then shared with the guests.
After dinner, the best man leads the next horo, often to “Piy, kume, piy”. This is also a good moment for a surprise or game prepared by the couple or their friends.
The bride invites unmarried guests onto the dance floor and throws the bouquet backwards. Tradition playfully names the person who catches it as the next to marry. Participation and the format are optional.
Unmarried male guests are invited to catch the garter thrown by the groom. The couple decides whether to include the removal of the garter, skip that part or adapt the tradition to a format everyone is comfortable with.
The cake arrives to music chosen in advance. The couple cuts it together, traditionally their first shared task as newlyweds. They may invite other couples to taste the cake and offer their wishes for a future wedding.
With the formal traditions complete, the celebration continues with dancing and suitable games. We coordinate the music with the guests and your preferences, keeping the energy flowing through to the last dance.
